HISTORICAL RESTORATION
Do you have an interest in protecting history within the structures that surround us from past generations for those in the future to experience themselves? We immerse ourselves completely in the history and significance of a site. With careful research, we learn how the original architects designed a building and why it was designed that way. This means that we can assist an architect and design team to restore a building to be both historically accurate and within current-day building codes. We restore and preserve some of the country’s most historic buildings and – using modern building techniques – are able to make these buildings stronger.
METAL FABRICATION
Have you had a dream construction project that just hasn’t seemed possible to be complete due to the high-end technicality behind it? Well, not only can we complete large roofing and siding projects, but we also excel at new construction work and high-end residential work. These projects can vary from something as simple as a copper chimney cap to an elaborate layered golden spire. These types of projects utilize our custom metalworking services. We apply these skills to all historic restoration projects as well as to new metalworking projects that require a custom approach and the skill and knowledge that we are famous for.
In addition to new slate and flashing, the project included beautiful restoration work and rebuilding of deteriorated original complex finials and a cupola that had been unmaintained for decades. Their attention to the historic quality demands of this building was exceptional. We have been very satisfied with their work. The clear, honest communication with Jeremy Crocker and the crew made the project successful for our entire congregation.
